It is a good movie to watch with an open mind and have a nice movie after a sociological discussion. To parents: I have seen the worst PG-13 movies than in terms of blood / combat "and" sex ". I hope that the academy recognized a diamond with some Oscars.
Thirty years ago, foreigners made first contact with Earth. People waiting for a hostile attack or a giant advances in technology. None came. Instead of being foreigners, refugees, the last survivors of their world. Beings are created in makeshift home in the area of South Africa 9, of the world argues over what to do with them.
Now, patience over stranger situation is over. Wikus quickly became the most hunted man in the world, and most valuable - it is the key to unlocking the secrets of alien technology. Ostracized and friends, there is only one place left for him to hide: District 9.
